As I've sought to distance myself from the more emotionally charged aspects of political discussion, where I rarely feel like people can gain any traction with one another, I've become more interested in economics. I tend to write about a few economic issues that are close to my heart including market liberalization, free trade and globalization.

Fitness
Fitness has become one of the cornerstones of my life over the past few years. I post about my workouts, my experiences and my progress toward my final goal (which is sneaking up on me like crazy).

Politics
After the past couple of years I doubt I'll have much to say here, but if I suddenly feel the need to fight uphill against populism it will probably be here.

Sports

Television
Television has become my distorted prism through which I view far flung corners of the world I haven't had a chance to visit yet. If I can't take time off to stroll the streets of Seoul, sunbathe on the Gold Coast or spend a dreary morning in Cheshire contemplating a mediocre cup of tea I can at least watch the same awful shows they do.
